Food/Agriculture Protection
Core Capabilities
ProjectsApplying Risk and Decision Analysis to Animal Health and Security For the National Center for Foreign Animal and Zoonotic Disease Defense (funded by the Department of Homeland Security), the Center is using uncertainty analysis and decision analysis to assess the vulnerability of the livestock industry to intentional introduction of foot-and-mouth disease. This will enable identification of the most effective strategies for preparedness and response.
Models of Interdependent Security in Supply Chains for Food For the National Center for Food Protection and Defense (funded by the Department of Homeland Security), the Center is using game theory to assess the best ways to protect supply chains in the food industry from the spread of accidental or intentionally introduced contamination.
